PVTU Volunteers and Riparian Tree Work
On Monday, October 27, 2025, Perkiomen Valley Trout Unlimited Volunteers performed Tree Maintenance and Tree Planting along the West Branch of the Perkiomen Creek at Longacres Farm near Barto, PA. PVTU has planted over 300 Trees at Longacres over the past decade. Riparian/Streamside Forest Tree Plantings help to lower stream temperatures, filter pollution from stormwater runoff and improve in-stream conditions for Aquatic Life. Special thanks to the following volunteers for their efforts.
