Stream Cleanup Success in Barto, PA

PVTU members participated in the annual State Game lands clean up project on Forgedale Rd in Barto, Washington Twp. on Friday morning March 27th.  Seven members of the chapter along with three Game Commission employees cleaned the roadside and streamsides of the West Branch Perkiomen Creek for approximately a half mile stretch from the beginning of the game lands property to the Barto bridge.  The crew filled the back of the Game Commission truck with many bags of debris.  Thanks to all the TU members, landowners and township officials that helped with road signs, cones and parking.  Also a big thanks to Jim Coffey for arranging all the logistics of the clean up before he went away.
