THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!

This stretch encompasses Phase 1 and 2 of our Longacre Project along with the original Longacre Farm work done by our chapter.

A special thanks to Aqua Volunteer Maggie Reilly, Penn State Master Watershed Steward Matt Neumaier and First Energy Volunteers Chris Ott, Marisella Fuster, Zach Nicholas, Kelli Moyer, Renelle Weidner, Syed Izzadulah and Jaleen Kline. Also thanks to PVTU volunteers Sue/Jim Coffey, Dave Deming, Mark/Deb Stannard, Andrew Hood, Andy Toombs, Bob Mathews, Brian McElroy, Steve Basson, Dave Hoglund, Scott Wirs, Gary Johnson and Ron Burke of PVTU.

Planting trees in riparian areas along streams filters pollutants out of stormwater runoff, prevents flooding and recharges streams and aquifers along with improving wildlife habitat.
